Description
This revolutionary new membrane by Schluter-Systems provides a thermal break
that can reduce the warm-up time of a heating system by up to 70% while still
providing the uncoupling and ease of installation provided by the original
DITRA-HEAT membranes. These thin 5/16″ mats are designed with the same stud
structure as the original DITRA-HEAT Membrane, allowing cables to fit snuggly
into the mat for a quicker installation and lower profile floor than when
installing traditional DITRA Uncoupling Membranes and/or insulation layers
such as cork with heating mats cables. Simply install your cable of choice
between the studs of the mat at the desired spacing the manufacturer’s
instructions, then thin-set and tile over the membrane.
