Up for Auction is a Reproduction WWI Era AEF US Army M1917 Helmet Leather Liner & Chin Strap Rebuild Kit.  This is a highly accurate reproduction with the correct leather and chin strap assembly.  This kit includes the helmet pad, the oil cloth liner with netting, the leather chin strap, the instruction tag and the replacement rivet.  The last rivet on the chin strap has not been set, to allow you be able to loop the chin strap through the bales of the helmet.  The last photos shows the liner kit installed in a helmet.  This helmet is NOT included with this  offering, it if for illustration purposes ONLY!!
These liner kits are ONE SIZE FITS ALL.  Simply adjust the pull string on the netting and the chin strap to get the best fit.
So, if you have an original helmet with a missing or deteriorating liner, you can rebuild it with this kit.
This would make a nice addition to your WWI Collection.
