This is a new reproduction of the wool hat cord issued for US Cavalry before the 1930’s change to rayon cords.  Color light blue for Infantry.  This hat cord is adjustable and will fit all normal hat sizes, and is shown in the photo on a size 7 1/4 hat.  Leather chinstrap for the campaign hat that is normally worn with the hat cord is sold in a separate listing.
